Yesterday I accompanied my friends to Off the Grid in San Francisco. I don’t normally have a day where I’m gorging myself on food, but yesterday was such a day.
First stop was Recchiuti Confections at the Ferry Building. I bought a Pearl Mint Tea, Peanut Butter Puck and Vanilla Bean Marshmallow for myself. Only tried the marshmallow thus far - was as delicious as I thought it’d be!
At Off the Grid, my first stop was Curry Up Now. I’m not particularly into Indian food, but apparently I can eat Kathi Rolls as long as I drench it in yogurt sauce.
At Kung Fu Tacos, took them up on their 2-for-$3 mochi deal and got Strawberry Cheesecake as well as Nutella mochi. Yes, they were both as delicious as they sound.
Ended my first experience at Off the Grid with Dark Chocolate Chamboise crème brûlée.
All in all, I can definitely say I’m now a fan.
Beef & wonton noodle soup at Top Cafe in Cupertino to end a very tiring day with.
I think I might officially turn all Fridays from here on out to Food Fridays!
